MINI OPERA: The Magic of Opera Tailored for Children
Le Nozze Di Figaro, in English The Marriage of Figaro is a comic opera in four acts by Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It tells how the servants Figaro and Susanna succeed in getting married​. The masterpiece has been cleverly cut down to 17min, digitally animated, sung in the original language and narrated in English.
ACTIVITY 1: Let's sing
Through learning songs with International Award Winning Coach,and soprano Marika Rauscher, your child will be taught how to project their voices in easy-to-use and stuctured lessons. Each of the 12 lessons are pre-recorded and about 6 mins long and they can be enjoyed weekly or at your own pace. . The lessons are focused on healthy vocal development and FUN! Each programme comprises one tune from the opera from Part 1 and a selection of children songs, all of which are available to download and print.

ACTIVITY 4: Interviews
Meet Ivana Gavric and Paul Wingfield, Ivana Gavric is a British pianist. She was named Newcomer of the Year at the BBC Music Magazine Awards 2011. Conductor and répétiteur Paul Wingfield was a member of The Royal Opera's Jette Parker Young Artists Programme . He made his Royal Opera House conducting debut with Mozart and Salieri in 2012.
